Chen Lv (吕辰), Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Dr. Chen Lv (also spelled as Lyu, Chen) is an Associate Professor of School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He also holds joint appointments as the Cluster Director in Future Mobility Solutions at ERI@N, Thrust Lead in Smart Mobility and Delivery, Continental-NTU Corp Lab. He received the PhD degree from Department of Automotive Engineering, Tsinghua University, China in Jan 2016, with a joint PhD at EECS Dept., University of California, Berkeley, USA. He was as a Research Fellow at Advanced Vehicle Engineering Center, Cranfield University, UK during 2016-2018. He joined NTU as a Nanyang Assistant Professor and founded the Automated Driving and Human-Machine System (AutoMan) Research Lab since June 2018. His research focuses on advanced vehicle control and intelligence, where he has contributed 4 books, over 200 papers, obtained 12 granted patents and 5 patent applications.
